Product Limitations:
- Identification Rate: The mycoplasma identification rate is relatively low, identifying approximately 99% of mycoplasma species, with about 1% risk of false negatives.
- Interference Factors: High concentrations of serum, blood products, divalent ions, and EDTA may interfere with the colorimetric results but can be removed by centrifugation and washing.
