Description

For culture lactic streptococci and their bacteriophages.

Component (g/L)

Tryptone : 5 g

Soy Peptone : 5 g

Yeast extract : 2.5 g

Meat extract : 5 g

Ascorbic acid : 0.5 g

Magnesium sulfate : 0.25 g

Di-Sodium Glycerophosophate : 19 g

Lactose : 5 g

Protocol 
  1. Weight 42.3 g M17 Broth and mix with 1000 ml ddH2O thoroughly.
  2. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 mins.
  3. Store at 2-8℃. If there is any physical changes, discard the medium.
Storage Room Temp and dry environment
