Introduction
Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSC) have the potential for multidirectional differentiation, and can be induced to differentiate into osteoblasts, adipocytes, and chondrocytes under certain conditions in vitro. In 2006, the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) determined that these three test indicators are mandatory for MSC identification. Current MSC-based research reports will identify these three indicators.
